FOR UNIVERSITIES & EXEC ED

Live negotiation practice, embedded in your program under your brand

A co-branded practice module where learners rehearse the cases your faculty teach, out loud, against an adaptive AI counterpart. The engine grades technique and returns a coaching review. About ten minutes per session, on web and native iOS and Android.

A corner office at dusk. Patricia closes her laptop. You asked for the meeting, and she knows why.
Patricia Chen
I'll be straight with you. The band for this level tops out where you already are. What number is in your head, and why should I believe it?
Before I put a number down, what is the band at the top? I'd rather anchor to something real.
✓ Anchoring
Patricia Chen
Fair. It's 165. But I have two people already at the ceiling and a budget that shrank in March.
So the constraint is the budget and parity. If those were solved, would we be talking differently?
✓ Labeling
Patricia Chen
We might. Neither of those is your problem to solve, though.
Put me at 165 now, and write down what makes the next level automatic at review. I get certainty, you keep parity intact.

In shortNegotiateIt is an AI negotiation platform that universities and exec-ed programs embed as a co-branded practice module. Learners rehearse faculty-designed cases turn by turn against an adaptive AI counterpart. The engine grades technique and returns a coaching review in about ten minutes. Single sign-on, gradebook, and cohort reporting are set up per engagement.
WHERE IT FITS

A rehearsal module between your theory and the real conversation

Your curriculum teaches the frameworks. This is where learners practice them. A student reads the case you assigned, opens the module, and negotiates it turn by turn against a counterpart that pushes back and adapts to the pressure they apply. The engine grades technique as it happens. When the session ends, each learner reads a coaching review of what worked and what to try next. One session runs about ten minutes, so it slots into a lecture, a pre-class assignment, or an independent-study week.

  • Learners rehearse the exact cases your faculty teach
  • Technique graded in real time across eight named moves
  • A coaching review after every session
  • About ten minutes per session, completed anywhere
  • Web plus native iOS and Android
THE COACHING REVIEW

Every session ends with a graded review

When the conversation closes, the engine plays it back move by move. It scores each technique against this counterpart, names what worked, and gives the one thing to try next. The learner sees the grade tied to a moment in their own conversation.

What you did well
Strong
Anchoring
You made her set the anchor instead of anchoring against yourself.
Strong
Labeling
Naming her real constraint dropped Resistance 14 points in one turn.
Excellent
Reframing
You stopped negotiating the number and started negotiating the structure.
What you left on the table

BATNA
You never named your walk-away. A harder counterpart will not concede this early.
You didn't win by wanting it more. You won by making “yes” the easy thing for her to defend to someone else.
CO-BRANDED & MAPPED

White-labeled and built around your curriculum

The module carries your name and your visual identity. To a learner it reads as part of your program, because it is. We design the scenarios with your faculty so the practice matches what you teach and how you teach it. We define the storyline and setting, the counterpart and their agenda, the learner's goal, the hidden objectives that shift the outcome, and the difficulty. That covers distributive and integrative bargaining, multi-issue deals, salary and offer conversations, and the harder cases your program is known for.

  • White-label branding across the learner experience
  • Custom scenarios co-designed with your faculty
  • Distributive, integrative, and multi-issue bargaining
  • Salary, offer, and complex deal cases
  • Difficulty and hidden objectives tuned to your teaching
The Raise
A rep asks a VP for a number the band was not built to allow.
The Deal
Hold your terms across the table when the stakes are high.
The Vendor Table
Defend your margin against a supplier who anchors high and stalls.
SIGN-ON & REPORTING

Single sign-on, gradebook, and cohort reporting

Learners reach the module through your existing login. We set up LTI or SAML per engagement, so students authenticate the way they already do and no one manages a separate password. Completion and scores flow into your LMS and gradebook, into the course of record where faculty expect them. Faculty also see cohort reporting: who has practiced, which techniques a group is landing, and where a class is stalling, so a lecturer can adjust the next session around real evidence.

  • LTI or SAML single sign-on, configured per engagement
  • LMS and gradebook integration for completion and scores
  • Results land in the course of record
  • Cohort reporting so faculty see technique across a class
DATA & COMPLIANCE

Registration, a signed DPA, and GDPR-aligned handling

Registration is required, which means there is no anonymous access to the model. That is a deliberate security control and it doubles as academic-integrity evidence: every session is tied to a known learner in your program. We sign a DPA and handle data in line with EU and GDPR expectations. Our sub-processors are listed transparently so your procurement team can review them. Learner text is never used to train models.

  • Registration required, so no anonymous model access
  • Signed DPA per institution
  • EU and GDPR-aligned data handling
  • Sub-processor list published for review

ENGAGEMENT MODELS

Start with a scoped pilot in one course

Most programs begin with a scoped pilot in a single course or cohort. We co-design a small set of scenarios with your faculty, wire up sign-on and reporting for that group, and run it for a term so you can see the practice work against your own cases. When the pilot lands, programs move to a wider rollout under one of two models: per active learner, or an annual program license.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

LTI or SAML: which sign-on do you support?

Both, configured per engagement. LTI launches the module directly from within your LMS and can pass results back to the gradebook. SAML federates against your identity provider for single sign-on across the program. We set up whichever fits your stack during onboarding.

Is the module co-branded with our institution?

Yes. The learner experience is white-labeled with your name and visual identity, so it reads as part of your program. We co-design the scenarios with your faculty so the cases, difficulty, and hidden objectives match your curriculum.

How does gradebook integration work?

Completion and technique scores flow from the module into your LMS and gradebook via LTI, landing in the course of record where faculty expect them. Faculty also get cohort reporting. Integration is set up per engagement.

Where is data stored, and are you GDPR-aligned?

We handle data in line with EU and GDPR expectations and sign a DPA with each institution. Our sub-processors are listed transparently for your procurement team to review. Registration is required, so there is no anonymous access to the model, and learner text is never used to train models.

How is a pilot scoped?

A pilot runs in one course or cohort for a term. We co-design a small set of scenarios with your faculty, configure sign-on and reporting for that group, and run it so you can see the practice work against your own cases.

How long is a session, and where can learners run it?

About ten minutes per session, which fits inside a lecture, a pre-class assignment, or an independent-study week. Learners practice on web and on native iOS and Android.
