About
About NegotiateIt
NegotiateIt is a practice game for high-stakes conversations. You sit across from an AI opponent that does not roll over. You make your case and find out whether it holds up under pressure, before the conversation that actually counts.
Who makes it
NegotiateIt is built by BD Nova UG, a company based in Germany.
Why it exists
We built NegotiateIt because reading about negotiation and surviving a real one are different skills. You can finish every book on the shelf and still freeze the moment a manager says “that number is not possible” or a landlord shrugs and says “there are three other applicants.” The theory is the easy half. The hard half is doing it out loud, with your pulse up, when the other side pushes back.
There was nowhere to rehearse that. You get one real raise conversation a year, maybe one severance negotiation a decade. The stakes are highest exactly where you have the least practice. So we built a place to get the reps in.
How it works
Each session drops you into a scripted scenario with a specific opponent who wants something different from what you want. They resist. They do not concede because you asked nicely - they concede when you show real technique, read the moment, and give them a way to say yes without losing face. Every session is scored, and a debrief afterwards tells you what landed, what slipped, and what to try next time.
What it is
NegotiateIt is text-first. Your opponents are AI characters, generated in real time - not real people and not a recording of one. It is a rehearsal room: a place to build the reflex so the real conversation feels like the second time, not the first.
Three career scenarios are free to play. If you want the full set, there is a paid plan - but you can feel how it works before you decide.
Confused about the name? A few similarly-named products do very different things. Here is what NegotiateIt is and how it differs.
